The Program:
Miss Pinkerton, Incorporated
"Miss Pinkerton, Incorporated", starred Joan Blondell and Dick Powell (husband and wife in real life) as Mary Vance, head of the Vance Detective Agency, and Police investigator Murray. A short run radio detective series from 1941 in which Mary Vance inherits a detective agency from her uncle and decides to become its lead private investigator. Both Blondell and Powell were naturals in front of the radio microphone.
